Why we yawn…

We yawn for several reasons. Tiredness, Boredom, sleepiness and even hunger can all slow down our breathing and reduce the oxygen flow to our brain.  When we yawn, we inhale a large quantity of air and restore balance in the body. Yawning is therefore, like a body reflex.
